The MA programme in Languages for Business and Development allows for the attainment of high proficiency (at least Level C1 of the CEFR) in two languages (chosen from Chinese, English, French, and Russian), as well as knowledge in economics and law. It provides interdisciplinary preparation advantageous for entering the job market, with a particular focus on sustainability and linguistic and cultural mediation, even in conflict contexts. Many courses are delivered in a seminar format and require the students’ active participation. Internship is mandatory. The programme was established in the Arezzo campus of the University of Siena, which is easily accessible by public and private transportation. The area is a vibrant place to live and study, and local stakeholders have always been very open to collaboration with the University.
